-Science and Maths
Alnitak offers Science and Maths group tution for primary and secondary school students. Each group is kept small (3-8) so that tutors can monitor the progress of the students during class.
Alnitak Methodology uses our ABC strategy - Assessment, Brain Development and Conceptual Understanding.
Assessment - Students are exposed to a variety of carefully selected assessments for their practice. We believe that students should know how to answer questions to do well in their exams.
Brain Development - Students go through rigorous Brain Development exercises in every lesson. Alnitak uses four practical exercises for this purpose. They are Colour Test, Quick Maths, Memory Test and Read Aloud.
Conceptual Understanding - Students will be taught to take down key notes to enhance their understanding of the topics they learnt.
Tutor
Our tutor, Faizal, has a BSc (NUS) and MEd (NTU/NIE). He has more than 20 years of experience in the education industry. His personalised methods motivate students to do well in their exams and their lives.

Enrichment Programmes
- Junior Science @ alnitak
Learn Science by doing exciting experiments. In each session, students will learn to make snow, build charges with balloons and learn and do experiments about rocket science! Students become Alnitak scientists by exploring the nature of things. So come on and get your lab coats ready for this adventure!
Participants get hands-on experiences in electrostatic experiments.
- Astronomy @ alnitak
Get ready for an astronomical experience, learn about planets, Sun-Earth-Moon system, eclipses and the different types of calendars. Participants will learn to build sundial, and construct a 30-year calendar.Learn Maths & Science concepts through astronomy.
